The convenors of the ASME XXII National Conference invite you to the ASME conference, being held from October 2nd – 4th 2019 in Perth Western Australia.
The ASME XXII National Conference and its theme – “Footprints – creating pathways to the future” – provides a unique opportunity for all who work within the various music education genre across Australia to come together to celebrate achievements, and to stimulate professional learning that will create an even brighter future. Organisations, institutions and professional associations that provide and support music education are encouraged to attend and contribute to a vibrant conference experience.
The Conference will take place in the University of Western Australia on the banks of the Swan River, 5 kilometres from the Perth CBD. Up to 300 delegates are expected to attend the 2019 Conference, with a program featuring four keynote speakers, concurrent sessions including papers and workshops, a Young Composer Project, recitals and performances from various ensembles.
